Job Description
Temporary position. Will work full-time hours.
The NFS Cook does all preparation, cooking and baking of food for Sanford Canton-Inwood patients and residents of Sanford Hiawatha Heights (SHH) according to their diets. Also cooks/bakes for employees, visitors and guests. The cook follows and prepares meals according to approved recipes/menus. Supervises other NFS employees when the department manager is not on duty. The cook may order food from stores and vendors without needing to get specific approval from Administration. He/she sees that all food stuffs arrive in the quantity ordered, that they are in good condition when received and are properly stored when the manager is not on duty. The cook also inspects and tastes the food being prepared for service to insure food quality. The cook serves and delivers meals to patients and SHH residents. He/she performs all daily cleaning assignments in accordance with all sanitation and safety regulations.
When students are providing patient care, treatment, and/or services as a part of their training, any/all employees may be asked to supervise the students.
Required Skills
High school diploma or GED. On-the-job training will be provided. No previous experience necessary but preferred.
Serve Safe Certification may be required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
